Bill Velos, the firm’s principal was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1985 with a Bachelor of Laws and Economics dual degree from Monash University. He practices largely in the areas of Commercial litigation, Commercial Law, Credit Law, Construction Law, Wills & Estates and Personal Injury Law.
Bill is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and over the years has gained an extensive knowledge and experience in many areas of legal practice that he pursues. Bill has run many high end litigation proceedings in both State and Federal Courts and has extensive experience in these areas of the law.
Bill receives retainers from Credit Unions, Chartered Accounting firms, Financial Institutions and other corporate entities and a large part of the practice concerns recoveries for personal loans and secured loans from borrowers of the Financial Institutions. This area of practice has grown considerably in the past 10 years.
Bill also acts extensively for Developers, Construction Companies, builders and associated entities and has extensive experience in appearing and acting within the VCAT jurisdiction.
